The Spanish Society for International Human Rights, LRWC and 45 other CSOs presented a joint statement to the 3rd Session of the Working Group on the Right to Peace criticizing the second draft declaration on the right to peace for failing to incorporate the essential elements of the right to peace identified in the 2010 Santiago Declaration and confirmed by the April 2012 Declaration by the Advisory Committee.
