Sebastian Ennis is currently transitioning to a litigation boutique in Vancouver with a focus on public law, appeals, and complex public interest cases. He previously served as a judicial law clerk at both the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He obtained his J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2017 and his B.A. (Hons.) from King’s College in 2013. Sebastian is passionate about the promotion and protection of human rights and has held diverse volunteer roles in this space. He has been a volunteer with LRWC since 2018. Along with Brian Samuels, Q.C., he is a Co-Monitor of the human rights situation in Turkey. In addition to his work with LRWC, Sebastian is a researcher with the Canadian Expert Member of the United Nations Human Rights Committee, with whom he continues to collaborate on international projects.
