Jane Henderson, Q.C., was born and raised in Vancouver, moving to Victoria in 1975 to attend the University of Victoria Law School. Her law practice has been primarily in the area of Family Law and is now restricted to Mediation, Arbitration, and Parent Coordination.
Throughout her career, Jane has served on the Boards of numerous community and professional organizations, taught family law through Continuing Legal Education, Professional Legal Training Program, and as a guest lecturer at the University of Victoria, and contributed to various legal publications.
Jane has a long standing interest in Human Rights and the Rule of Law on a national and international level and is proud to support the work of Lawyers Rights Watch.
