Samina Ullah has a J.D. from UBC, a B.A. Honors in International Development Studies from York University and is a M.A. Candidate in Political Science. Samina has pursued several opportunities in international public interest law. She works for a Vancouver based human rights organization, Lawyers’ Rights Watch Canada. She was a delegate in the UK Lawyers’ Group Colombia Caravana and traveled to Colombia to support the group’s work defending human rights defenders. Through the Allard Prize for International Integrity Samina worked for Global Witness in Washington, D.C., a London-based organization that combats resource corruption. This summer Samina will be clerking at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia and intends to pursue a legal career in international public interest law.
