On the occasion of the Day of Endangered Lawyers, the IBAHRI is pleased to invite you to the launch of the Toolkit on Lawyers at Risk, developed in partnership with the Bar Human Rights Committee, Human Rights House Foundation, Lawyers for Lawyers and Lawyers’ Rights Watch Canada.
The Toolkit on Lawyers at Risk is designed to strengthen the protection of lawyers who risk persecution as a result of carrying out their professional duties.
The event will also kick off the commemoration year of the 30th Anniversary of the UN Basic Principles on the Role of Lawyers and the IBA Standards for the Independence of the Legal Profession.
